Wow... it's been forever since I have drawn something fun for myself. It seems all my art time is consumed with AP Art or Commission peices. Consequently, the quality is not the best... but it felt good to finally draw something I wanted to draw. I haven't drawn chibi in a while so I really struggled with the proportions. But alas, this was a "fun" drawing so I didn't stress over it.

Anywho's, this is Nakatsu Shuichi from Hanazakari no Kimitachi e (Hana Kimi). I've been an loyal follower of the manga by Nakajo Hisaya since the first volume was released maybe two years ago or so. It is by far, my favorite manga series. However, I have recently fallen in love with the story all over again after watching a Japanese drama based on the series. More specifically, I adored Ikuta Toma's performance of the character Nakatsu. He really brought the character to life. And so, I drew some fanart to salute Ikuta Toma's fabulous acting skills and my renewed obsession with misc. Japanese stuff.
